Dr. Amera Murabit, MD, FRCSC is a board-certified plastic surgeon and member of The Plastic Surgery Group at City Centre in Surrey, British Columbia. She provides comprehensive care across a wide range of plastic and reconstructive procedures, with advanced training in paediatric, cleft, craniofacial, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Murabit practises within the Fraser Health Authority, performing surgery at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Royal Columbian Hospital, and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Centre. Raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Dr. Murabit completed undergraduate studies in Anatomy and Mathematics at the University of Saskatchewan, followed by her Doctor of Medicine (MD) with Distinction from the same institution. She then pursued residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where she served as Chief Resident and earned multiple clinical research awards for her contributions to the field. Following residency, Dr. Murabit completed fellowship training in Paediatric Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cleft Surgery at the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, England.

Her international training also includes:
