Paying for Your Procedure

In British Columbia, the Medical Services Plan (MSP) typically does not cover procedures performed for cosmetic reasons. However, there are certain situations where coverage may apply. The best way to determine whether your procedure may qualify for insurance coverage is to discuss your case during a consultation with your PSG surgeon.

In some circumstances, private insurance plans or other third-party coverage may help offset treatment costs. For example, injuries related to motor vehicle accidents may qualify for coverage through ICBC if surgery is required to treat scarring or deformities resulting from the accident.
