Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)
Confidence you can wear.
This wonderful 47-year-old patient is a healthcare worker who wanted to address the excess skin of her upper arms after significant changes in her body. It is always an honour when a fellow healthcare professional places their trust in me, and I never take that responsibility lightly.
A brachioplasty (arm lift) removes excess skin and reshapes the upper arm to create a smoother, more proportional contour. While an arm lift does require a scar, meticulous planning is aimed at positioning and camouflaging it as much as possible so it is less noticeable in everyday life.
These photos show her before surgery and just 6 weeks after. She is currently wearing silicone scar tape, an important part of her recovery that helps optimize scar healing during the months after surgery.
Every patient heals differently, and scars continue to mature for 12–18 months, but it's exciting to see such an early transformation.
